Custom Furniture Designed, Visualised & Built In Melbourne

Recently had a library and cabinets installed in my study. I am thrilled with the finished product. The whole process from my initial inquiry to completion was so easy. I dealt with Matt and Cassandra and they were both great. I would highly recommend CM Furniture.

I had an excellent experience in the design and installation phase for my home office with different materials and price points. Matt and team came up with various options for the space to optimise its use. The Installation team were also excellent, were efficient clean and easy to work with.

I changed my mind several times throughout the design process which would have been very annoying to deal with but Matt and Christine were really helpful and accomodating with my ideas and changes which I really appreciated. I am really happy overall, product looks great, and when I had something minor that wasn't 100% right, they went over and above to fix it at no extra cost and made it perfect.

Matt is very creative and experienced and I enjoyed working with him to make my 2nd bedroom a functional office space by day and guest bedroom when needed with a wall bed. The end result is extremely high quality and I love being in the room. I highly recommend Matt's services.

I recently consulted with Matt, at CM Furniture Design in Melbourne. His approach was so refreshing and respectful: an invitation for me to reflect, and explore, what I would most hope for in my quest for my ideal 'dining buffet'. Along the way, he shared many ideas and 'thought bubbles': offered but not imposed. It truly became a co-created project. The buffet now lives happily in my home - well placed within its setting. It has superb functionality, including an abundance of easily accessed drawers for optimal storage. But, for me, the aesthetic of this piece of furniture was equally, if not more, important : a subtle integration of quality materials, subtly varied textures, and color. CM Furniture Design was amazing! Had our study customised (special desk, draws and a massive bookcase). They worked closely with myself and my husband to design what we wanted and delivered exactly that, including working with our budget. Having spent the last two years working from home this was a dream come true. Always friendly and easy to communicate with. We ended up reaching back out to get a customised desk organiser made as well. Highly recommend the team at CM Furniture Design and can’t thank them enough!

CM furniture have provided us with an absolutely beautiful book shelf, customised and expertly installed. They guided us throughout the process from their initial visit to our place, to numerous phone calls to discuss details, to the design, sending us drafts from which we made further suggestions. We had a great experience with CM Furniture Design. We had a timber desk and shelving built into our apartment and are very happy with the results. The desk is in a tight spot that made it difficult to accomodate furniture. Matt designed a floating desk and bookshelves for us to make the most of the space available. The design also has space for a computer and cable management to maximise desk space and keep the area tidy. The design process was collaborative and included renderings of what the furniture would look like in place. The installation was done with care for our apartment and great attention to detail in the fitment. I use this space full-time for work and am very glad we chose CM Furniture Design.
