CM Furniture Design is an innovative Melbourne based business with over 20 years of furniture design experience. Since 2009, we have been dedicated to the design and supply of high quality, Australian made custom furniture.
Our Story
Our journey began with a passion for creating unique, high-quality furniture. Matt, our lead designer and director, began his career in custom home offices in 2002. In 2009 Matt and Christine established CM Furniture Design. Over the years, we have grown into a trusted name in the custom furniture industry, known for our dedication and attention to detail.
What we do
At CM Furniture Design, we specialise in designing and building custom furniture for both residential and commercial spaces. We create installations as individual as your space. Every piece is unique and customised just for you. We work closely with you, from the initial concept and design phase, through to the final build and installation, to ensure that every detail meets your expectations. All of our custom furniture is digitally visualised so there are absolutely no surprises when the final piece arrives. CM Furniture Design only uses fully insured, professional carriers with an established relationship to ensure that your furniture arrives safely and is positioned in your space.

Matt
Designer & Director
Our Director, lead Designer and Draftsperson, Matt, is the driving force behind the creation of our bespoke pieces. As the visionary Director, Matt brings strategic leadership to the company, setting the tone for innovation and design.
Matt began his career in 2002 as a CAD draftsperson designing custom made offices and library installations. His experience within the furniture sales and design industry grew over the next 20 years allowing for a diverse understanding of the furniture design and building process.
Christine
Business & Marketing Director
As the Marketing and Office Director, Christine is responsible for driving both the external and internal facets of our operation, bringing a strategic vision and creativity to the forefront.
With over 15 years experience working in marketing and business management, her in-depth understanding of market trends and consumer needs guides our brand presence, allowing clients to easily discover and benefit from our services.
Christine has a passion for improving all aspects of the business for a memorable client experience, while meeting technological demand.
Adriana
DesigneR & Draftsperson
Adriana is our Interior Designer and Draftsperson who plays an integral role in bringing creative visions to life. Adriana translates conceptual ideas into visually stunning designs, ensuring that each piece aligns with our clients’ unique preferences and the overall aesthetic of our brand. Adriana collaborates closely with our design and production teams, ensuring every custom piece is not only aesthetically pleasing but also structurally sound and feasible for production.
Cassandra
Administration & deliveries
Cassie is responsible for overseeing and coordinating administrative functions within the company. Cassie’s role involves managing our administrative processes, and ensuring the smooth flow of day-to-day orders and deliveries. Cassie has great organisational skills, attention to detail, and has a comprehensive understanding of running the business’ necessities.
